Programs

The residents of Starke County have been the great beneficiaries of SCILL, the Starke County Initiative for Lifelong Learning. It's been the county’s backbone in workforce development since 1996. It was created by the Starke County Economic Development Foundation to assure that a qualified workforce will be available to employers in Starke County. SCILL also provides continuing education programs that allow the workforce to improve and learn new job skills.

SCILL, an IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, works with area employers to provide specialized, innovative training programs specific to the needs of employers and employees. Ancilla College is the fiscal agent for SCILL, which hosts, manages, develops and sponsors a number of different training opportunities for both adults and high school aged students.
